Whether you are setting up a virtual smart fence or tracking a lost pup, SpotOn ensures that you are always there for your dog when he needs you most.
1. THE COLLAR
Because it relies on global navigation satellite systems technology, rather than stationary hardware, SpotOn allows you to create a virtual smart fence for your dog anywhere in the world, simply by walking a perimeter.
This means that you won’t have to keep your dog cooped up in the house or kennel when you travel somewhere new—if you have a view of the sky, you can create a safe space for your dog to play in.
Setting a Perimeter
Creating a custom virtual smart fence with SpotOn is as simple as walking around the area you want to enclose while holding the collar—no wires, Wi-Fi, or base stations required. Whether you’re at home, at a relative’s house, or in the wild, SpotOn lets you quickly establish a fenced area for your dog to run around in—no matter how rough the terrain.
For those times when you just can’t wait to play together, SpotOn allows you to instantly create a circular virtual smart fence around a given location, so that you and your pet can get straight to having fun.Find out more
2. THE APP
Control the entire SpotOn system from your smartphone.
Our convenient app allows you to store, manage, and share up to 10 custom virtual smart fences. In addition, it serves as the system’s central hub in the unlikely event that your dog gets lost, providing the detailed maps and directions you need to quickly find her.
Tracking Your Pet
For just $6.95/month, you can track your dog in the unlikely event that she slips out of bounds.
If your pet leaves the perimeter you’ve set, your whole family can receive a smartphone alert within 10 seconds of the breach. Working together with global navigation satellite systems and existing cellular networks, SpotOn will automatically begin tracking your dog, displaying her location, direction, and proximity to you. With a reliable local cellular network, you will receive updates every 6 seconds and be able to locate your dog to within 10 feet.
To reunite you as soon as possible, SpotOn provides a street map with turn-by-turn directions, or a compass with direction and distance to your dog’s location.
SpotOn keeps dogs contained within a given perimeter by exposing them to specific tones or optional static correction when they get too close to its edge. Several decades of use have proven that these stimuli work to keep dogs in their yards.
Since this system works best when paired with a high-quality training program, we partnered with professional dog trainers to develop and test customizable plans for you and your pet.
Each program offers instructional videos and written directions to guide you through every step in the process, and our unique “Passport Quiz” will help you test your dog’s understanding of the SpotOn system. When she passes, you two are ready for adventures beyond the yard.
The Right Plan for You
Every pup is unique. That’s why we created three distinct training approaches ranging from non-aversive (without static correction) to traditional, to make sure that your dog learns how to stay within the boundaries you set in the most effective and least stressful way possible.
To make sure you get the highest-quality training experience available, we offer tips and FAQs on our site and have knowledgable trainers available to answer all of your questions. If you need hands-on assistance, we can help you find a local trainer who will teach you and your pup how to get the most out of SpotOn together.See more details
It was a good perimeter for him. I’d tried another product that was a circle and he didn’t understand the system. My dog never ran through this fence but I did like the GPS tracker in case he got out so I could locate him immediately.
